I’m thrilled to share that, with the support of a grant from Galactic Hubs, my team at LightningWorks and I are in the midst of creating a captivating demo comic for Alien Worlds. This project marks the beginning of our ambitious journey to craft an expansive narrative for the the Alien Worlds community.
My goal is to invigorate and engage the community, drawing them into the creation of the largest collaborative story universe ever envisioned. Leveraging the innovative web3 tools from both Alien Worlds and LightningWorks, we’re set to transform storytelling in this new digital era.
The comics will cost $3 with nine tiers of rarity, unique generated covers, and much more. There will be a maximum supply of 10,000 which will rapidly reduce via our “Forging” mechanism.
About the Story
The story commences in a Magor mining prison colony called Grimstone, where our heroes emerge amidst the challenge of distinguishing friend from foe in a treacherous environment. Surrounded by natural barriers and rife with dangerous creatures, Grimstone is ruled by thugs, business elites, and gang leaders who auction off fresh prisoners as commodities to various mining factions.
In this harsh landscape, inmates must endure their sentences or embark on various types of Trilium mining. As they fight for survival and Trilium, they unknowingly uncover secrets that threaten all six planets: Eyeke, Kavian, Magor, Neri, Naron, and Veles.
Although only eight pages of story to start, we are already working on more pages to complete the first entire issue. I think this Starblind comic will give readers a taste of the adventure, mystery, and humor to come, and I hope to inspire them to see the potential of storytelling in the Alien Worlds universe. The comic also includes many extra pages of information about the story world that this adventure takes place within.
Synopsis of the Project
The goal is to utilize our expertise in bringing to life the Alien Worlds lore foundation developed by celebrated Sci-Fi author, Kevin J. Anderson.
The “Tokenized Lore” technology will allow anyone to build this world with us. With this first comic book launch, we’re crafting the start of an enthralling narrative featuring several new characters, all set in a prison colony of miners on Magor.
Creating a compelling story within the confines of an eight-page comic is a challenging feat, but we’ve dedicated considerable effort to make it impactful. Readers can look forward to a dynamic introduction of characters, the emergence of villains, hidden easter eggs, exciting new lore revelations, mysterious plot setups, and a gripping cliffhanger.
Accessibility is key in our approach, and as such, the comic will be available for just $3. It can be easily purchased directly within WhatsApp or Telegram, thanks to our own unique technology that simplifies the process. There’s no need for Metamask or any cryptocurrency knowledge; each comic is an NFT, and you’ll receive a new wallet integrated within the chat app itself, making the experience seamless and user-friendly. Project Goals
The eight 
page Web3 comic goes beyond traditional digital comics by incorporating LightningWorks technologies, setting a new standard for the future of comics. This project is part of our strategy to energize the community, encouraging members to evolve from participants to creators, fostering a vibrant, story-driven culture. With our ‘Cliffhanger’ strategy we aim to captivate Alien Worlds’ audience, laying the groundwork for a potential full series of 12-18 comics spanning six planets, much like Star Wars.
